Pre-Registration is Now Open

That’s RIGHT!
Early Admissions Is Open!
You know, when you really think about it – sometimes it’s best just get it out of the way, and not have it looming over your head for the next several months.
But, Mark. What happens if I forget that I bought my admissions, early? It’s all good, we will remind you when it comes closer to the event that you already have your discounted admission paid for – and all you’d have to do is show your receipt at the event, and get your wristband. Easy Peasy.
What are some benefits of pre-registering, you ask?
- Well, I already mentioned the convenience of not having to pay at the door
- Which, by the way, paying online would save you some money by pre-registering.
- The line moves quicker for VIPs such as yourself.
- We’d thank you, profusely.
Having said all that, check out this page to inquire about pricing.
One of the cool things I’ve noticed while running conventions, is that satisfaction of helping people out – whether it’s letting them know about things like early admissions and pre-registrations, or opening up a world where people can experience new and cool things – like this event.
I love the thrill and excitement of starting a new convention (as well as running existing ones) and spreading the word. It’s a great feeling all the way around.
As an attendee, a vendor, a panelist, or even a volunteer. I hope you feel that excitement too – as we move forward in preparation for the upcoming event in September.

A Word From Mark
- Mark Bogner
- News

Hello folks. My name is Mark Bogner and I’m one of the coordinators of this convention, a self published author, and overall – an idea generator. Sometimes my brain puts out so many ideas, that I get myself into trouble.
Part of this convention was partially my brain child. But, I started working with Marcus V. Calvert and Weston Kincade and it snowballed after that.
Anyway, I digress.
So far, we are choosing between two venues in the greater Akron area that will, no doubt, fit this supreme literary extravaganza. With this event, we are looking to host Authors (of course), artists, publishers and more. And, let’s not forget about the panels and workshops on writing, publishing, and more.
Once we nail down our venue, we will be opening up vendor booth/table sales soon – so, stay tuned.
As the young kids would say, “it’s gonna be lit” – or whatever it is they say, now-a-days. I wouldn’t know. I’m in my early 50’s. (That felt weird to type it out, like that. Now, it’s like… set in stone, or something.)
I digress, again.
Having said all that, we are going to be looking for volunteers to help with the day-to-day goings on, as well as volunteers for the weekend of the convention.
Volunteer Positions Needed:
- Social Media (help manage and post when needed – also answering DMs)
- Vendor Relations (booking and service)
- Floaters (days of event to help cover tables when a vendor wants a break)
- Panels/Workshops (scheduling prior to event and coordinating the day of)
- Admissions (days of event for ticket and admissions sales)
- More to come
If you’d like to volunteer with us, you can do so, here.

Let There Be An AAC!
- Weston Kincade
- Uncategorized
Hello from Cleveland!

Weston Kincade here, experienced fiction author, teacher, and lit convention designer. You may not have heard of me, but if you ever attended Cleveland ConCoction, I designed and ran the Authors Alley department with the help of some very special people.
The convention has grown and is still doing well, but Marcus Calvert (co-host from Prompt Joust and an exceptional novelist) reached out, inquiring if I’d be interested in designing a full-fledged book convention. It didn’t take long to get me aboard for this project.
Let there be an AAC!
